MENTORSHIP
Girls need people who listen, encourage, challenge, expose them to possibility, and remind them they do not have to navigate everything alone.
ABOUT BE GIRLPWRD
Be GirlPwrd is a youth-development nonprofit creating spaces, experiences, and opportunities that help girls and young women build confidence, strengthen social-emotional skills, discover purpose, and expand what they believe is possible.

The BE GIRLPWRD approach
Be GirlPwrd supports girls and young women through social-emotional learning, mentorship, leadership development, skill-building, creative expression, career exposure, and meaningful community.
Our work is designed around the real moments girls are navigating — identity, relationships, confidence, boundaries, decision-making, setbacks, transition, purpose, and the future they are working toward.
We create environments where girls are not simply told they can succeed. They are given opportunities to strengthen the internal skills, relationships, exposure, and support that help them believe it for themselves.
THE WHY
Our approach
Girls need people who listen, encourage, challenge, expose them to possibility, and remind them they do not have to navigate everything alone.
Our programs create opportunities to practice the social-emotional, leadership, planning, communication, decision-making, and personal-development skills girls can use in real life.
We create room for girls to explore identity, ideas, emotions, goals, and experiences through hands-on, reflective, and creative learning.
How it started
Be GirlPwrd was created from a belief that girls deserve more than occasional encouragement. They deserve consistent spaces where they can be seen, supported, challenged, exposed to new possibilities, and equipped with tools they can carry into every stage of their lives.
What began as a vision to create meaningful experiences for girls has continued to grow into an expanding ecosystem of programs, curriculum, school and community partnerships, mentorship, signature initiatives, and opportunities designed to PWR girls forward.
I wanted to build the kind of space where girls could discover who they are while also beginning to believe in who they could become.
